#AuStRiA's Bot   

Within #AuStRiA reside two (ro)bots. These are seperate programs written in c++ that take protective measures and monitor a channel. Measures they take, include preventing the channel from being flooded and against users who are a busive in behaviour. The bot in the channel is called AuStRiA, an eggdrop supported by Cynthia`. This bot is hosted on a shell in Austria, which was made available by _CoolCaT

The second eggdrop in #Austria is called Gr8Time, this has been in the channel for a while than AuStRiA and it is supported by Gh0st. The functions in Gr8Time differ only in discrete ways to that of AuStRiA.

Below is a list of the most important commands available publically by AuStRiA. Most of these commands will also work with Gr8Time but by using "&" instead of "!".

This is one of the most important commands and will list the majority of other available commands to you. Just type it as above in the channel and a comprehensive list will be messaged to you.

This will display the last time [nick] was in the channel #Austria. AuStRiA remembers everyone that joins #Austria, where as Gr8Time only recalls users in its list. The script used with AuStRiA pushes the disk quota to the limit and if this should become too excessive an old version will be used.

This would tell you when the person last sent any text to the main channel area.
e.g. !lastspoke letze

This will get the eggdrop(s) to ping [nick], although [nick] can be replaced with me e.g. !ping ME to get a ping reply for yourself in a private notice. A PING is how long it took from you actually typing !ping.... and everyone else in the channel seeing what you wrote. If excessively large responces are given it can be remidied by changing servers (/server irc.dal.net).

You need to replace [Land] with a 2 letter code such as 'at' or 'kr'. This would tell you what country is represented by that 2 letter code.

AuStRiA has the capability of defining the most common [Abbreviations]. There are many abbreviations and shorthands used during chatting, including LOL, BRB, RE e.t.c...
e.g. !define tyt

AuStRiA will attempt to translate from [Language1] into [Language2]. You need to replace [Language?] with the correct language codes listed below.
N.B - Do not attempt to use this for homework or totally rely on translations. On many occations the translation has been far from correct and even humerous.
Even so this can be useful and extremely helpful, when a translation is dificult. Normally in #Austria only Eng translations are required, but AuStRiA has support for many other languages.

The Bots have an extensive list of quotes both amusing, as well as those from famous people. When you type the 'trigger' above, the bot(s) will choose a random quote from a large list. There are at least 160 quotes to choose from.

This will get the bot(s) to order a cup of coffee for somone or a specific type of coffee for yourself. There are a few types of coffees that you can order type !coffee help for further info.
